**I’ve intentionally layered and aligned my work across academia, policy, and practice to build expertise capable of tackling complex, systemic challenges.** **Academia sharpens thinking.** It's about refinement, development and discipline. Every research project, lecture or seminar is a way to test ideas and explore conceptual boundaries that take shape in the real world. Over time, that clarity leads to the creation of tools and frameworks that others can use to make better decisions. **Policy is where decisions shape systems.** As a non-executive director, I contribute to strategic oversight and public accountability. This means challenging assumptions, reframing discussions, and identifying blind spots in governance conversations. It’s also about translating values into strategic direction so that institutional decisions generate positive long-term social, commercial and environmental outcomes. **Practice is where ideas are tested through action.** In organisations, I design structures, implementing strategy, and navigating competing demands with finite resources.
